Veterans Empowerment Organization Support

Roswell Rotary has embraced support for the VEO (Veterans Empowerment Organization) this year as part of our ongoing focus of veteran and military support. The VEO's mission is to enhance the quality of life for homeless veterans on their road to self-sufficiency. This year we:

• Had Tyler Bowser from the VEO speak to a club meeting.
• Collected supplies to support the veterans including personal, clothing and household items.
• Had a group of Rotarians walk with the VEO in Atlanta's Veterans Day Parade.
• Provided drinks and volunteered at the Veterans Day Barbeque at the VEO.
• Collected and delivered 106 hoodies to be given as Christmas gifts to the veterans at the VEO.
• Supported the VEO at its annual gala at the Georgia Aquarium.
• Will have a maintenance work day at the VEO in the month of March.
