Marietta Reads- Our Marietta Reads story begins with young Andy relaxing under an apple tree when “Kerplunk!” an apple falls on his head. Inspired, he decides to make “Andy’s Apple Dumplings,” but a voice suddenly asks, “Is it the Truth?” Realizing the apples belong to Elmer, Andy begins his journey through the Four-Way Test in Andy and Elmer’s Apple Dumpling Adventure.

This year, the book was read to 34 second-grade classrooms across Dunleith, Lockheed, Hickory Hills, Sawyer Road, West Side, A.L. Burruss, and Park Street by 24 Rotarians during the week of October 27–31. Each class also received activity books to enjoy after the reading.
